Thumb Relief

Mar 25

The blog is turning into the ‘Kirsten Craft Show’ at the moment (no offence my love, it’s just very you-focused right now!), so I thought I’d better post something. For all those Matt fans. All 4 of you. Whoever you are…

More New Paintings

Mar 25

I’ve been in a painting kind of mood lately. I’m not sure what has gotten me so inspired lately - probably a combination of things. I’ve been talking to Matt about him making me a website just for my artwork where maybe I could even sell some, although I think that could just be wishful thinking. Her living room has lots of shades of olive greens. This is what I came up with:

Spring - Series of 3 Paintings

I had to stand on a chair and hold the camera over my head to take this photo, so it’s not great.

I haven’t shown the painting to Denise yet - I hope she likes it! It’s scary painting for others but so much fun!

Inspire Me Thursday

This week’s challenge on Inspire Me Thursday is:

Ink Blots

I thought this was a very interesting topic! I was a bit too lazy to get my paints out, and my scrapbooking stuff was right next to me, so I made my inkblot using a piece of scrapbooking paper, some blobs of Making Memories paint (the only colour I have is pink!) and some Kindy Glitz. I folded the paper in half, and this is what it looked like:

Ink blot - before editing
